Iran is prepared to restart nuclear discussions with Washington provided that it is approached with "respect" and "honor", Iran's top diplomat has declared.

The Iranian diplomat stated exclusively dialogue was effective, and revealed recent overtures had been made by intermediaries to reopen negotiations with the American leadership. He said Iran possessed no undeclared nuclear sites, and Tehran was not yet able to authorize the global atomic watchdog to visit attacked atomic facilities for protective measures.

Navigating a Challenging Route

The foreign minister is treading a difficult route since Iran wishes not to be seen to be acting from a situation of weakness, and he emphatically stated that Iran had emerged more resilient militarily and psychologically from the Israeli-US attack on its enrichment centers in June.

He was speaking at a security conference in Tehran where he reaffirmed that Iran had "an inalienable right to process nuclear material domestically that it will perpetually retain" – the key factor of the stalemate in the earlier negotiations.

Earlier Discussions Suddenly Ended
